At Blackburn Lake Primary School, students engage deeply with Geography, Science, History and Civics and Citizenship studies using an inquiry-based approach. Moreover, it empowers students to enhance essential skills such as critical thinking, questioning, local reasoning and evaluation. 

The students at Blackburn Lake Primary School are immersed in Geography, Science, History and Civics and Citizenship studies through an inquiry approach. Students are encouraged to investigate overarching questions that directly relate to their termly topic. Through rich learning experiences, the inquiry approach encourages students to develop deeper understanding.
