Behaviour Management

At Blackburn Lake Primary School we work collaboratively with students and parents to establish fair and respectful behaviour practices. Communication with parents/guardians is the most important factor in affecting behavioural change and improvements for students.

It is the right of all members of the BLPS community to experience a safe, pleasant and supportive learning and teaching environment. Staff, students and parents/carers have a right to be treated with respect, and enjoy an environment free from bullying (including cyber bullying), harassment, violence, discrimination or intimidation. We all have a responsibility to model and reinforce positive behaviours and a responsibility in supporting the school in maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment.
